  • Total Recall - 2010

In 2010, Team KAOS attended the BEST competition at Waltrip High School under the Space City BEST’s Hub. We successfully triumphed as we won first place in the Game portion of the Competition, first place Most Robust Design, and the #1 Seed award. Alongside Westbrook Int. and Hightower High School, Team KAOS advanced to the Texas BEST competiton at the University of North Texas (Denton, TX.) We began the competition with a team of five members, a GE Engineer, and two team mentors. Unfortunately, we were off to a bad start. However, Team KAOS did not give up. We persevered and continued to take part in the competition. In the end, we qualified for the finals, where we rose from fourth place to first. At the end of the day, Team KAOS celebrated three hard earned trophies: First Place Texas Best Competition Champion, Second Place Most Robust Design award, and the Third Place Best Website Design award.
